A case was opened against a Krasnoyarsk man for sexually abusing his daughter.
A criminal case has been opened against a resident of Krasnoyarsk. He is suspected of sexually abusing his daughter.
The Leninsky District Court remanded the man in custody until December 29. The court concluded that the accused, when choosing another preventive measure, could hide from the investigation and obstruct the establishment of the truth. He is the father of the minor victim and the husband of the witness in the case and, thus, can, among other things, put pressure on the victim and the witness.
According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the court's decision has not entered into force, the defense has filed an appeal.
Earlier, on October 30, it was reported that in France, a new law that came into force after the Giselle Pelico court case now assumes that any sexual act without consent is violence. The document specifies that consent must be voluntary and informed, expressed before the act is performed. In addition, it can be revoked at any time.
