Stable snow cover in the central part of Russia will appear no earlier than December. On November 5, Alexander Shuvalov, a weather forecaster and head of the Meteo forecasting center, told Izvestia.

"Snow will fall between November 14th and 17th, but it will be in very small amounts. After that, the next wave of warming will come, and this snow will be washed away," he explained, stressing that precipitation will be light.

The forecaster urged to prepare for two waves of short-term cold snap. According to forecasts, on November 10 and 11, daytime temperatures may drop to 5 degrees. On November 14 and 15, the temperature will reach negative values and will reach from 0 to -5 degrees. However, at the end of the second decade, the average daily temperatures in the central part of the country will become positive again.

Earlier that day, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, reported that meteorological winter could come in Moscow in mid-November. According to her, the temperature should be slightly negative: +3 during the day and -4 at night.
