Navigation for small vessels is closed in Khabarovsk Territory
Navigation for small vessels has been completed in the entire Khabarovsk Territory since Wednesday, November 5. The reason is climatic conditions. Owners of boats and speedboats are not allowed to enter the water area, this is stated in the resolutions of the heads of municipalities.
According to IA AmurMedia, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region, the processes of ice formation begin with a decrease in air and water temperatures in reservoirs. The risk of icing of the vessel's hull, loss of stability, and technical malfunctions increases. If a person falls overboard, the chances of survival decrease dramatically.
The timing of the closure of navigation concerns not only vessels that are under the supervision of the GIMS of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but also fishermen on rubber boats. For violation of safety requirements, a fine of up to 15 thousand rubles is imposed, a ban on the operation of the vehicle, the vessel will be detained and put on a guarded screen saver. Criminal liability is threatened for gross violations resulting in injury to health and property.
The only vessels that can enter the water area after navigation is closed are patrol groups of law enforcement agencies and rescue services.
Earlier it was reported that on November 1, the Khabarovsk river checkpoint passenger line was suspended in the Khabarovsk Territory. This is due to the completion of navigation. Starting from November 6, the cargo route will also be suspended.
