The Russian Consulate General in Antalya is in contact with the relatives of missing Russian citizen Irina Kisileva and local law enforcement agencies. The diplomatic mission announced this on November 5 in an interview with Izvestia.

"The Russian Consulate General in Antalya is in contact with the relatives of the missing Russian citizen and local law enforcement agencies. According to the Turkish competent services, the search for her continues," the Consulate General said.

It is specified that the Consulate General will continue to keep this situation under priority control and will provide the necessary assistance within its existing powers.

Irina Kisileva came to Antalya on vacation with her 12-year-old son on October 26. They checked into the Royal Atlantis Spa Hotel & Well, on October 31, the woman disappeared. The evening before she disappeared, she told the child that she would go to the store, took $5 dollars and left.

Later, law enforcement officers found out that she had left the hotel with another guest, whom she had met the day before, after which they went swimming on the beach. The man himself claims that at some point he left the woman to play volleyball, and when he returned, he did not find Kisileva on the beach. At the same time, he first took her things to his room, but around 23 o'clock he decided to take the woman's bag to the reception.

The last person to see the woman was a cleaner on the beach. He said that Irina was sleeping on a chaise longue at about 19:00. The woman's further movement has not yet been traced. The family planned to return home on November 5. With the assistance of the staff of the Consulate General and the Turkish side, the Russian woman's son was sent home.

On November 3, the newspaper The Phuket News reported about a tourist from Russia who disappeared at sea. It was noted that the Russian went into the water with his friends, he was covered by a large wave and pulled into the sea, no one else saw him.

Later, on November 5, the publication reported the discovery of the body of a missing Russian off the coast of Phuket Island.
