In Abakan, 32 people, including 20 children, complained to the hospital after the screening. This was reported to Izvestia on November 5 in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Khakassia.
"During the day (from Monday evening, November 3, to Tuesday evening, November 4. 32 people, including 20 children and 12 adults, applied to the emergency room of the Republican Clinical Ophthalmological Hospital with complaints of eye damage," said Victoria Agafonova, a spokeswoman for the department.
All the victims attended a movie screening in one of the Abakan cinemas. They received the necessary medical care, and the patients were sent for outpatient treatment. The medical staff assured that the patients' condition is satisfactory and will not have serious health consequences.
The Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened a criminal case into the incident.
On November 1, 10 children in Dagestan were diagnosed with signs of acute intestinal infection. The regional Ministry of Health reported that six people were hospitalized, four more are being treated on an outpatient basis. After the admission of the injured children from the village of Dilym, Kazbekov district, to the hospital with signs of poisoning, a criminal case was opened.
