A resident of Moscow, who was detained for treason, admitted that he had collaborated with the special services of one of the NATO countries in order to move to another country. This was announced on November 5 in a video posted by the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia.

"I met a citizen, she offered me cooperation (promised that. — Ed.) can help to transfer information to another country to move to another country," the detainee shared.

According to him, the woman took his email address, after which the supervisor contacted him. It was necessary to transfer information about opposition-minded Russian citizens for cooperation, the criminal confessed.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that FSB officers had detained a Muscovite for collecting data on opposition Russians for NATO special services. It was noted that by the court's decision, the detainee was given a preventive measure in the form of detention, and he faces punishment up to life imprisonment.
