Domclick experts assessed the growth of inter-regional transactions in the secondary market

Sberbank's Domclick analytical center estimates that 31.4 thousand interregional transactions have been concluded in the secondary market since the beginning of the year. This is 15% more than in the same period last year.

Inter-regional transactions between sellers from Moscow and buyers from Krasnodar Region are the most common (7.6%).

In the first three quarters of 2025, 31.4 thousand interregional transactions on the secondary market were completed with the help of Domclick. Compared to last year, the number of transactions increased by 15%, which was due to the growth of interregional transactions without mortgages — their number increased by 44% year-on-year.

Interregional transactions are much more often executed at their own expense — such transactions account for 75% of the total number of transactions involving the purchase or sale of real estate in another region. Every fourth inter-regional transaction involves a mortgage (25%).

The vast majority of inter-regional transactions (more than 96%) are concluded for the purchase of an apartment. The remaining 3 percent or more accounts for transactions for the purchase of apartments or parking spaces.

In the vast majority of transactions from the top 10 of the rating, sellers were in Moscow, and buyers were in the regions.

The largest number of interregional transactions in 2025 were concluded by sellers from Moscow and buyers from the Krasnodar Territory (7.6%). Buyers from the Novosibirsk Region and St. Petersburg came in second and third place (both with 5.2% each). In both cases, the seller was in Moscow.

Sellers from the Krasnodar Territory concluded deals with buyers from Moscow (4.0%) and St. Petersburg (1.9%).

Finally, interregional real estate transactions in Kaliningrad are closing the top ten (1.3%), in which the seller was in the Kaliningrad region and the buyer was in Moscow.
