The General Director reported on the regular operation of the Vostochny cosmodrome
The Vostochny cosmodrome continues to operate normally, despite power supply restrictions. This was announced on November 5 by Nikolay Novikov, General Director of the Vostochny Cosmodrome Directorate.
"The Vostochny cosmodrome is operating normally. The restriction of electricity at the Vostochny cosmodrome construction sites does not apply to strategically important sites. Moreover, it will not affect the construction of the Angara launch complex," RIA Novosti quoted Novikov as saying.
He clarified that the debt of the contractor PSO Kazan will be repaid by the end of the month.
Earlier that day, it became known about the power outage at the sites of the Angara launch complex at the Vostochny cosmodrome due to contractor debt. It was clarified that due to non-fulfillment of obligations by the contractor, the power engineers are considering the possibility of applying to the court to declare the company bankrupt.
