Physicist Kaku called 3I/ATLAS a mysterious interstellar object
The famous American physicist and popularizer of science Michio Kaku, in an interview with the TV channel, commented on the 3I/ATLAS object, which NASA classifies as an interstellar comet. An excerpt of his interview with Newsmax TV channel was published.
"3I/ATLAS is a mysterious interstellar object known for its hyperbolic motion towards the Sun and very high velocity relative to the Solar System," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) On November 2, the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that a change in the speed and trajectory of the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object may be due to the effects of solar flares on it. It is noted that at least five large solar emissions were supposed to hit the "comet ship" in the period from October 23 to October 27.
