The average pension in Russia has exceeded the mark of 23.5 thousand rubles.
In Russia, as of October 1 of this year, the average pension exceeded the mark of 23.5 thousand rubles. This is evidenced by the data of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti on November 5.
It is specified that at the beginning of this year the average pension amount was 23,175.18 rubles, now it is at the level of 23,529.78 rubles.
According to the Social Fund, working pensioners receive just over 21 thousand rubles, while non—working pensioners receive more than 24 thousand rubles.
Earlier, on October 28, the leader of the Fair Russia party, the head of the Duma faction, Sergei Mironov, proposed paying pensioners the 13th pension for the New Year holidays. It is noted that these funds will not only help the elderly celebrate the New Year holidays, but also restore social justice.
