A woman and two minors died in a fire in a country house in Surgut.
A two-storey country house caught fire due to violations of the rules for the installation and operation of electrical equipment in Surgut, as a result of which a man was injured, and a woman and two minors died. This was reported on November 5 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Khanty-Mansiysk region.
The tragedy was recorded at 03:22 (01:22 Moscow time) in the horticultural association (SOT) "Coastal 1". The flame was extinguished at 05:16 (03:16 Moscow time) on an area of 72 sq. m.
"A two-storey country house was on fire. <...> The injured man was found by the gas and smoke protection service and handed over to the ambulance crew. During the reconnaissance, firefighters found a woman and two children without signs of life," the press service of the department said.
It also notes that 39 specialists and 11 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. It is emphasized that investigators from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and investigators from the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region were sent to the scene to establish all the circumstances.
On October 31, a criminal case was opened in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory under articles on negligence and causing death by negligence after the death of two small children in a fire recorded in one of the apartments of a residential building in Ussuriysk. It was noted that the area of the fire, which killed two children, was 10 square meters.m.
