Gazprom topped the rating of the largest Russian investor companies according to Forbes

Gazprom took the first place in the ranking of the largest investor companies in Russia. The corresponding rating was published by Forbes magazine.

According to the publication, Gazprom's investments in 2024 amounted to 2 trillion 357.8 billion rubles, and in 2023 this amount was 2 trillion 527.6 billion rubles.

Rosneft is in second place, with investments of 1 trillion 442 billion rubles over the previous year and 1 trillion 297 billion rubles in 2023. Russian Railways Holding Company (RZD) took the third place with investments of 1 trillion 420 billion versus 1 trillion 259.7 billion, respectively.

The Billionaire Census 2025 report by the research company Altrata, published on October 29, noted that by the end of 2024, the number of dollar billionaires in the world increased by 5.6%, to 3,508 people, which was the largest increase since 2020. Russia took the fourth place in the number of billionaires, catching up with the UK: there are 128 dollar billionaires in the country with a total fortune of $457 billion. During the year, their number in Russia increased by 8.5%.
