One of the problems of the Russian judicial system is the lack of unity of law enforcement, which causes many revisions of judicial acts, which does not promote respect for the judiciary. This was announced on November 5 by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia Igor Krasnov.

"As for the authority of the judicial system, in my opinion, one of the urgent problems that requires increased attention is still the insufficient level of unity of law enforcement," he said in an interview with TASS.

In addition, the Chairman noted that this problem leads to revisions of judicial acts, which does not promote respect for the judiciary.

Krasnov also said that Russia needs a uniform judicial practice. According to him, it ensures law and order and constitutional legality. This, as the Chairman of the Supreme Court noted, builds citizens' trust in the law and the country.

On September 24, the Federation Council appointed Igor Krasnov to the post of Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. The decision was made unanimously at the plenary session of the chamber — all 160 senators voted for Krasnov.
