In the near future, customers will be able to see apples and pomegranates from the Afghan city of Kandahar on the shelves of Russian stores. This was reported on November 4 by the Alemarah news portal.

"The start of apple exports to Russia after pomegranates is good news and a good, fruitful step. This will allow Afghan gardeners to find a new and good market for their fruits," commented a spokesman for the Supreme leader of Afghanistan, quoted by RIA Novosti.
