The oldest German resident, Karl Heidle, died at the age of 111. This was reported on November 3 by the newspaper Kreiszeitung Böblinger Bote.

It is noted that the man died on November 1.

"A few weeks after his 110th birthday, the oldest man in Germany died," the article says.

Heidle was born on September 2, 1915 in Germany. He worked as a locksmith. Even at the age of 99, Heidle drove a car and tended the vines in his vineyard. At the same time, at the age of 105, he outlived his only daughter, and then led an independent lifestyle in the seclusion of Stetten. The man has not visited doctors for about 30 years.
