National Unity Day, celebrated on November 4, recalls the heroic pages of the history of the Motherland, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted on his channel in the IACH. He congratulated Muscovites on the holiday, wishing them "good health, well-being and new achievements in work."

Sobyanin called the centuries-old traditions of national unity a solid foundation of modern Russia. According to him, National Unity Day "affirms the values of patriotism and selfless service to the Motherland."

"Together, shoulder to shoulder, today we are defending the sovereignty of the country and implementing large—scale development plans," wrote the mayor of the capital.

Earlier, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina announced that about 350 locations, including the Moskino Film Park, VDNH, and cultural centers, would join the celebration of National Unity Day in Moscow. For example, a performance with the participation of reenactors will be held on the central square of the Moskino Film Park, and a thematic sightseeing tour will be held at VDNH. On the same day, the Matryoshka of Moscow will show the citizens and guests of the capital an exclusive festive 30-minute multimedia program.
