The National Unity Day lighting was turned on at the Ostankino Tower
In Moscow, on the Ostankino Tower, on the night of November 3 to 4, thematic lighting was turned on in honor of National Unity Day. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia.
A video featuring the monument to Minin and Pozharsky, as well as St. Basil's Cathedral and the Moscow Kremlin against the background of the Russian flag is being broadcast on the TV tower. The lighting turned the tower bright red.
Earlier in the day, Russian Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexey Zubritsky, Sergey Ryzhikov and Oleg Platonov congratulated their compatriots on National Unity Day from aboard the International Space Station (ISS). They noted that this holiday is for those who sincerely love Russia, appreciate history and work for its benefit, and are ready to defend their country.
