The air defense forces destroyed at least seven UAVs in the sky over the Voronezh region

The Air Defense Forces have destroyed at least seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies over the Voronezh Region. This was announced on October 4 by the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev.

"At least seven unmanned aerial vehicles have already been detected and destroyed by the air defense forces on duty in the skies over two districts and two cities of the Voronezh Region," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

Gusev said that, according to preliminary data, no one was injured as a result of the incident. He clarified that in the south of the region, windows were broken in four apartments of an apartment building. In addition, two garages and their cars were damaged as a result of the incident.

The governor added that the threat of UAV attacks remains in Buturlinovsky, Rossoshansky, Liskinsky districts, Borisoglebsk and Novovoronezh.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems had destroyed 26 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia. It is specified that 13 drones eliminated 13 drones, seven more in the sky over the Rostov region and three each over the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
