In 2021, the BBC TV channel falsified the speech of the American leader Donald Trump about the riots in the Capitol. This was reported on November 3 by The Daily Telegraph newspaper, citing sources.

The BBC falsified Donald Trump's speech, creating the impression that he was encouraging riots on Capitol Hill," the publication says.

It is clarified that the Panorama program in October 2024 showed viewers a statement by the American leader, who allegedly tells supporters that he intends to go with them and "fight with all his might." Thus, the program misled viewers, because in fact, the US president said that he would go with supporters in order to "peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard."

Earlier, on October 31, 2024, Fox News reported that Trump had sued CBS News over an interview with Kamala Harris, a candidate in the last presidential election, and demanded $10 billion for attempted interference in the election.
