A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who underwent an accelerated officer training program developed by the Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine, was eliminated in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on November 3 by a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In the Kharkiv region, Lieutenant Alexander Vusatyuk, a 21-year—old graduate of the Academy of the State Border Guard Service, who studied under the accelerated officer training program, was eliminated," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

This operation was carried out at the time of the retreat of the Ukrainian units from the area of the village of Tikhoe, which was liberated on October 17.

On October 30, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the destruction of up to 50 Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in the Kupyansk area in a day. The ministry noted that, in addition, six units of military equipment were eliminated, including a self-propelled artillery installation and two pickups.
