Plushenko's son was taken away by ambulance after the show in St. Petersburg
The son of figure skater Evgeny Plushenko, 12-year-old Sasha, was taken away by ambulance with a high fever after his father's show "Sleeping Beauty" in St. Petersburg. The newspaper "Sport-Express" writes about this on November 3.
"Sanka had a fever all night, they knocked it down, he was sick, his condition was terrible. But there's nowhere to go, we have to skate. I remember myself — I had to ride in such situations. We drugged him with all kinds of medicines, and he rolled away, a hero," Evgeny Plushenko said at the end of his speech.
On his 43rd birthday, the figure skater presented the Sleeping Beauty show in St. Petersburg. Both of his sons, the elder Alexander and the younger Arseny, took part in it.
Before that, on October 26, Alexander Plushenko won a tournament with a single participant in Naro-Fominsk near Moscow. According to the results of two programs, short and free, the young athlete earned 192.91 points. The son of the Olympic champion has been studying at the Plushenko Angels Academy created by his father since 2017.
