The North group of troops defeated the Ukrainian armed forces in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. As a result of the actions of the Russian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 240 militants, two armored combat vehicles, 23 vehicles and five field artillery guns, an electronic warfare station, four ammunition depots and a depot of materiel.

In addition, during urban battles, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation dislodged the enemy from four fortified positions in the industrial zone on the left bank of the Oskol River, and thwarted two attempts by units of the 92nd assault Brigade and the 15th National Guard brigade to break through the encirclement from the settlements of Nechvolodovka and Blagodatovka in the Kharkiv region.

"In the village of Krasnoarmeysk of the DPR, the assault groups of the second army entered and gained a foothold in the residential area of the Prigorodny microdistrict. The destruction of the encircled formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the railway station and the industrial zone behind the railway, as well as the cleansing of the settlements of Gnatovka and Horn of the DPR from Ukrainian militants, continues. 10 enemy attacks were repelled in the northern and north-western directions from the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk of the DPR in order to break out of the encirclement," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated the storage and preparation sites for launching attack drones, temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 148 districts. In turn, air defense systems shot down a guided aerial bomb, a US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher and 365 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 668 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 94,732 UAVs, 635 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25,823 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,609 multiple rocket launchers, 31,035 field artillery and mortars, 45,652 pieces of special vehicles.
