Valery Borshchev, the author of the law on public control, has died.
Politician Valery Borshchev, who became the author of the initiative to adopt the law on public control, died at the age of 82. This was announced on November 3 by Eva Merkacheva, a member of the Russian Presidential Council for Human Rights (HRC).
"He left home, he didn't want to be in the hospital. They made a hospice ward out of his room. He struggled with a painful illness for a long time," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
