Sobyanin spoke about the victory of Muscovites at the Abilimpix championship

The Moscow national team became the best at the Abilimpix National Championship, an all—Russian inclusive professional skills competition. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, this year's competition was hosted for the first time by the Timiryazev Center high-tech exhibition complex. "The space allowed us to make the championship not only the largest in history, but also as accessible as possible for contestants with special needs," Sobyanin wrote on his channel in the IACH.

More than a thousand people from Russian regions and foreign countries participated in the final of Abilimpix. Moscow was represented by 151 participants of different ages and professions, as well as five veterans of a special military operation.

The competitions were held in 50 competencies in various fields — industry, construction, transport, information technology, medicine, education, beauty industry.

"The Moscow team became the best in almost all competitive competencies and confirmed the title of the strongest in the country in terms of the amount of awards won," the mayor said. "Our team has 101 medals in its collection."

The results of the presentations were evaluated by almost 300 experts and employers. The participants who performed better than others received job offers right on the competition floor.

Sobyanin congratulated the winners and wished them further professional growth.

The Abilimpix Professional Skills Championship has been held for over ten years. In early October, summing up the finals of the capital's Abilimpix 2025, the mayor recalled that the competition provides an opportunity for beginners and experienced professionals with special needs to "acquire valuable skills, hone their skills, and get a job in the city's leading companies." Last year, more than 650 Muscovites found work during the competition or immediately after its completion, Sobyanin noted.
