Pushilin announced the cleansing of Krasnoarmeysk and the encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russian military continues to clear out Krasnoarmeysk, where intense battles are taking place with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on November 2 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the Ukrainian units are not focused on holding positions, but on trying to break out of the encirclement.

"Our fighters are mopping up and crushing the enemy, and the enemy is not concentrating on holding any positions, but rather on unblocking and being able to get out of the encirclement," Pushilin said.

He also noted that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had not ordered its soldiers to leave Krasnoarmeysk, but some Ukrainian soldiers preferred to surrender.

Earlier, on November 1, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian units had expanded their control zone in the northern, eastern and southeastern parts of the village of Dimitrov in the DPR. According to the ministry, up to 190 Ukrainian servicemen were eliminated in this area and several pieces of military equipment were destroyed.

Later, the head of the DPR reported that fighting with Ukrainian forces was already underway in the city limits of Konstantinovka. According to him, Russian troops have every opportunity to "gradually squeeze out the enemy" from this direction.
