Ukrainian border guards began escaping to EU countries to avoid conscription
Ukrainian border guards are abandoning their posts and fleeing to the European Union (EU) countries to avoid serving on the front line. This became known on November 2.
"Ukrainian journalist Glagola, citing sources in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (GBSU), reported that since the beginning of this year, 15 Ukrainian border guards of the 94th border detachment (PSC) have fled to the EU while serving," the source told TASS.
According to him, the military left their posts, leaving weapons and equipment on the territory of Ukraine, and then fled to Slovakia and Hungary.
