Pushilin reported on the fighting in the city limits of Konstantinovka in the DPR
Fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces is already underway in the city limits of Konstantinovka, Donetsk People's Republic. This was announced on November 2 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
"The fighting is also already on the outskirts of Konstantinovka, in the city limits," he said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
According to Pushilin, Russian troops have every opportunity to "gradually squeeze out the enemy" in this direction.
Earlier, on November 1, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian Armed Forces had expanded their control zone in the northern, eastern and southeastern parts of the village of Dimitrov in the DPR. According to the ministry, units of the 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade continued to tighten the encirclement of the enemy group, destroying up to 190 Ukrainian servicemen and several pieces of equipment.
Later, the head of the DPR reported that the AFU units located in the Dimitrov area were in a critical situation. He also noted the successful advance of Russian forces in the areas of Seversk and Zvanovka.
