Sobyanin spoke about the new school in the Metro city
Construction of a school for 550 students has begun in the Metrogorodok district. The educational institution will appear on an Open highway near 1st Irtysh Passage and Tagilskaya Street. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel on the IACH.
The project provides for the division of the building into two functional blocks. An elementary school will be located in the left wing, and middle and senior classes will be located in the right wing. There are separate entrances for each block.
The central part of the facility will be equipped with school-wide facilities, including a food hall, a medical unit, an assembly hall, a media library and recreation areas.
A stadium, volleyball and basketball courts, as well as sports and play areas with training facilities will be built on the adjacent territory.
In addition to the school, it is planned to build a kindergarten with 250 places in the immediate vicinity, including a swimming pool.
"Over time, other necessary social infrastructure will appear in the Metro city," the mayor promised, noting that today this area in the east of the capital is actively developing.
