A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. In Kupyansk, the destruction of the encircled enemy group continues, an attempt by Ukrainian formations to break through the blockade ring was also stopped and three attacks aimed at unblocking the AFU units were repelled. In the Kupyansk area, the enemy lost up to 50 soldiers, a Gvozdika self-propelled gun, a Jura armored car, two trucks, five pickups and two ATVs. In total, in the area of responsibility of the Zapad group of forces, enemy losses amounted to up to 215 people, an M113 armored personnel carrier made in the USA, four armored combat vehicles, 18 vehicles and four field artillery guns. Seven electronic warfare stations, an electronic reconnaissance station and three ammunition depots were destroyed.

The units of the southern group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and lines. The Ukrainian Armed Forces units were defeated in the areas of the DPR settlements. The enemy lost up to 120 fighters, a Leopard tank manufactured by Germany, seven armored combat vehicles and six pickup trucks. The US-made AN/TPQ-48 counter-battery radar, three material depots and a fuel depot were destroyed.

The military personnel of the Center group of forces improved their position along the front line and defeated the enemy in a number of settlements of the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Red Army of the DPR, Russian units continue to destroy the encircled formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the railway station and the industrial zone behind the railway. The cleansing of the settlements of Gnatovka and Rog in the DPR from Ukrainian militants is coming to an end. The Russian Armed Forces continue to tighten the encirclement ring in Dimitrov in the DPR, 26 buildings were taken there during the day. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 520 militants, a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, six Cossack armored fighting vehicles and six vehicles.

Units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses, defeating formations of two mechanized brigades, three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades in areas of populated areas of the Zaporizhia region. The enemy lost up to 240 soldiers, an armored personnel carrier, two armored combat vehicles, 13 vehicles and an artillery piece.

The Dnepr group of troops defeated Ukrainian formations in a number of settlements in the Kherson region. Over 80 people, 12 vehicles, five electronic warfare stations, an ammunition depot, a fuel depot and two material depots were destroyed.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated energy facilities that provided the work of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, places of storage and preparation for the launch of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 141 areas.

The forces of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed six unmanned boats (BEC). Air defense systems shot down four guided aerial bombs, four US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 283 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special military operation, 668 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 94,367 unmanned aerial vehicles, 634 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25,812 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,608 multiple rocket launchers, 3,0999 field artillery and mortars, 45512 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
