North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited the command of the 11th Corps of the Korean People's Army, which is considered elite. This was reported on November 2 on the website of the Central Telegraphic Agency of Korea (KCNA).
During the visit, he visited the historical and revolutionary museum of the corps, met with military and political commanders and watched the training of special forces soldiers.
"The high spiritual peace, mass heroism and incomparable fighting spirit of the corps' soldiers are an exemplary example for our army," Kim Jong-un said.
He also discussed the tasks of strengthening and developing the corps and improving the combat and ideological training of personnel. The DPRK leader emphasized the high level of organization, cohesion and professionalism in the corps.
Earlier, on October 29, it was reported that on August 20, Kim Jong-un received the commanders of the Korean People's Army who participated in the battles for the liberation of the Kursk region.
