Germany has declared Russia's right to ensure its own security

Sarah Wagenknecht, leader of the Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice (SSV) party, said on November 1 that Russia has the right to ensure its own security if its warnings are ignored. She said this on the German TV channel ZDF.

"They started this <...> (Special Operation. — Ed.), because they did not want NATO soldiers and NATO missiles on their border," Wagenknecht said.

According to her, Russia has repeatedly warned about the consequences of deploying military forces on its borders, but the countries of the collective West have ignored these signals.
