Hockey club (HC) Washington Capitals lost to HC Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match. The match took place in Buffalo on November 1 and ended with a score of 3:4.

This defeat was the Washington Capitals' fourth in a row this NHL season.

Teige Thompson scored goals for the winners in the third minute, Alex Tak in the 11th and Isak Rosen in the 19th. Bowen Tyram scored the winning goal, Sport-Express notes.
