Air defense systems repelled a massive drone attack on energy infrastructure facilities in the Volgograd region. This was announced on November 2 by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation repelled a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on the energy infrastructure facilities of the Volgograd Region," the regional administration's press service quoted the governor as saying on its Telegram channel.

He noted that there were no injuries.
