A van exploded in the Finnish municipality of Yoroinen on Saturday, killing two people. This was announced on November 1 by the Yle broadcaster.
Police said that a van exploded on the territory of a hotel in the municipality of Joroinen in the Northern Savo region shortly after noon, and the bodies of two victims were found at the scene of the fire.
It is noted that the territory of the hotel was cordoned off, and the explosion damaged the facade of the building and knocked out the windows of several rooms. Some of the wreckage of the van ended up on the roof of the hotel.
"The van could contain prohibited substances, such as gas. Car... It belonged to the workers. The explosion damaged the brick wall and windows of the hotel, leaving only the skeleton of the van," said the owner of the hotel, Auvo Purtinen.
