The Telegraph revealed Trump's plan for Ukraine and assistance to Kiev

US President Donald Trump consistently makes decisions that complicate Ukraine's situation, the British newspaper The Telegraph reported on November 1.

According to the publication, Trump's policy is aimed at ensuring that the United States does not bear the main financial burden of supporting Kiev.

"It seems that Trump wants Europe to bear the lion's share of the cost of supporting Ukraine," said former British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt.

The Telegraph notes that American weapons for Ukraine will be sold on commercial terms, rather than provided as aid, which may make it difficult for Kiev to obtain the necessary weapons. At the same time, according to experts, Trump's policy "makes it clear that America will not allow Russia to win so easily, but Congress will not have to approve new multibillion-dollar aid packages."
