- The Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shifted the blame for the death of personnel to other units
The commander of the 125th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) blamed the deaths of his soldiers on the commanders of other brigades to which they were seconded, Russian law enforcement agencies reported on November 1.
According to TASS, Major Vladimir Fokin from Azov was appointed to the post of brigade commander in mid-October. According to the source, he "discovered that most of the brigade was missing, and decided to blame all the blame on the units where his soldiers were sent."
The brigade's official account stated that the command of the 125th MBR was not responsible for the seconded soldiers. According to them, a typical situation has developed: with a business trip scheme, everyone can blame the other for the loss of people.
Earlier, on October 13, it was reported that the command of the 80th separate airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was preventing relatives from identifying the bodies of the dead in order to avoid compensation payments. According to the source, due to confusion in morgues and problems with documents, relatives are sometimes given the bodies of other soldiers, claiming that their son or husband is "listed as alive."
