SNN reported on the fire in Shiraz

In Iran, in the city of Shiraz, a large fire occurred at a liquefied gas refueling plant, accompanied by explosions of cylinders. The incident was quickly localized with the participation of numerous firefighters, which allowed to avoid more serious consequences. This was reported on November 1 by the Iranian TV channel SNN.

According to the local fire service, seven fire brigades arrived at the scene after receiving a fire alarm at 18:01 local time (18:31 Moscow time). Rescuers managed to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to the workshop and adjacent buildings.

"As a result of the incident, nine people were injured: seven were treated on the spot, two were taken to the hospital. The fire did not spread to the neighboring workshop and residential buildings," the head of the Shiraz fire department said.
