The Russian government has imposed economic sanctions against Ukraine's new Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko, Economy Minister Alexei Sobolev, and Defense Minister Adviser Alexander Kubrakov. The relevant resolution was published on November 1 on the official portal of legal information.

The sanctions list includes representatives of the top leadership of Ukraine, including the head of government and key ministers.

The sanctions involve the freezing of assets in Russia and a ban on any financial transactions.
