A man died as a result of an electric train collision in Vladivostok.

In Vladivostok, a man who was walking near railway tracks was killed as a result of an electric train collision. This was announced by the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District on Saturday, November 1.

The collision occurred in the area between the stations Morgorodok and the Second river. A 48-year-old man who was walking along the tracks with a phone in his hands got under the wheels of an electric train.

The driver applied emergency braking and gave sound signals, but the tragedy could not be avoided. The pedestrian was killed, writes IA PrimaMedia.

The transport police did not specify exactly when the hit-and-run occurred, noting only that several days had passed. Upon the death of a person, the agency organized an inspection, all the circumstances are being clarified.

In September, in Vladivostok, an elderly man was injured when an electric train hit him. The victim was hospitalized with various injuries.
