Russian Papin will fight Cameroonian Fogum in the REN TV Fight Club

Russian boxer Alexey Papin will fight in the ring with his rival from Cameroon Rolly Lambert Fogum. The eight-round, three-minute bout will be the main fight of the REN TV Fight Club, which will be held on November 28 at the Vologda Sports Palace arena.

38-year-old Papin competes in the first heavyweight category. He is a former champion according to the International Boxing Federation (IBF International) 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, the current mandatory challenger for the 2020 WBC world title, the absolute world champion in kickboxing, as well as the holder of many other titles.

As part of the REN TV Fight Club, the Russian has already met with fighters Isaac Chelemba (Malawi), Greg Hardy (USA) and Dylan Prashovich (Montenegro). In professional boxing, Papin had 19 fights, of which 17 wins (16 by knockout), one defeat, and one fight was declared invalid.

The 36-year—old Cameroonian Fogum's collection includes the titles of the African champion according to the UBO and WBO (World Boxing Organization) versions, the titles of the Asian champion according to the WBA and WBC versions, as well as the IBF intercontinental title in 2023. In 2024, at the Showdown tournament in Bangkok, Rolly won the vacant World heavyweight title according to the World Boxing Federation (WBF).

The Cameroonian's professional boxing record is 17 fights, 15 wins (12 by knockout), one loss and one draw.
