Data on the work of foreign companies in Russia since 2022 refute the theory of the country's international economic isolation. This statement was made on November 1 by Senator Alexei Pushkov in his Telegram channel.

"These data blow up the picture of Russia's international economic isolation that Western politicians and the media are trying to create. There is no isolation even from the Western world, not to mention China, Brazil, India and other major global players," the report says.

Pushkov, referring to Euronews data, said that since 2022, foreign companies that continue to operate in Russia have transferred about $60 billion in taxes to the Russian budget.

In particular, 250 German companies continue to operate in Russia despite the anti-Russian policy of the German government. The senator stressed that Russia's economic isolation is not just absent, but also impossible in principle.
