Showman Kharlamov and actor Burunov laid flowers at the farewell ceremony with Popov

Actor Sergey Burunov and showman Garik Kharlamov came to say goodbye to Roman Popov and laid flowers on his grave. The footage was published by Izvestia on Saturday, November 1.

According to Burunov, Popov continued to act, despite severe pain. He noted that during the last filming there was always an ambulance nearby.

"There wasn't a second for him to complain or say anything. I saw that he was in pain," Burunov shared his memories.

Kharlamov, in turn, stressed that Popov worked hard and was distinguished by his kindness and sincerity. The actor described his colleague as a real person.

"He left very early, I think. I feel very sorry for my family and children," Kharlamov said.

A source from Izvestia reported Popov's death on October 28. The actor died at the age of 40. He had a recurrence of brain cancer, discovered in 2018. Popov is remembered for his role as investigator Mukhich in the TV series "Policeman from Rublevka", he has several dozen paintings to his credit.

Roman Popov's colleague on the series, Alexander Petrov, noted his talent on October 28 and called him a brave and talented person. According to Petrov, the actor was always ready for the shooting day, and also treated everyone on the set with love and sincerity, while remaining attentive and easy.

At parting with the actor, producer and actress Yulia Bogatikova said that Popov helped everyone and tried never to lose heart. Actor Karen Arutyunov also called Popov a true friend. He remembered that on the set, the actor gathered all his colleagues around him, telling funny stories.
