The Orel overpass in Tula will be reconstructed by September 2026.

The reconstruction of the Orel overpass in Tula should be completed by September 1, 2026. This was stated by Deputy head of the regional government Rodion Dudnik at a meeting held on October 31.

According to the official, the authorities must ensure its "timely and high-quality implementation" so that citizens receive a modern and safe facility.

Currently, work is underway on the overpass to reconstruct the gas pipeline, dismantle the old bridge superstructure and transfer cable communication lines, TSN24 writes.

The repair of the Oryol overpass started in early July. The work, divided into two stages, will be performed by UPMK-22 LLC. According to the Tula Ministry of Transport, Governor Dmitry Milyaev keeps the project under special control.
