Lipetsk summed up the results of the electric scooter season

The season of using electric scooters ended in Lipetsk on Saturday, November 1. Kicksharing companies should remove them from city streets.

According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, over the past season, which began on April 1, 29 accidents involving personal mobility equipment (IMS) occurred. 30 people were injured in accidents, but there were no fatalities.

According to GOROD48, these include not only electric scooters, but also gyroscuters, segways, electric skateboards, monowheels and other vehicles with an electric motor.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that users of electric scooters faced individual speed limits of up to 18-20 km/h with an acceptable 25 km/h. This affected not only drivers with rough driving who violate traffic regulations, but also those who drive rarely — kicksharing simply does not have enough data about them.
