In Washington, the US National Guard took part in suppressing mass riots involving young people on Halloween night. This was announced on November 1 by American journalist Andy Ngo.

"The National Guard helped the local police to respond to the riots organized by the youth," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The footage posted online shows clusters of young people in the square, some of whom are running away from National Guard officers. The local police also confirmed the riots and reported several arrests.
