Prices for new cars in Russia were changed by 26 companies in October

According to the results of October this year, 26 companies changed the prices of new cars in Russia. This was reported on November 1 by the analytical agency Autostat.

In the first half of the month, 12 companies rewrote the price lists, and in the second - 14 more. At the same time, two brands Haval, Jaecoo and Moskvich adjusted prices twice a month. Evolute and Belgee have registered changes due to the introduction of new trim levels. Most brands have experienced price increases. 16 companies have increased the prices of one or more models.

Thus, from September 1 to September 15, a change in the cost of new cars was recorded for Moskvich, Ambertruck, Sollers, KGM, Tank, Haval, BAIC, Omoda, JAC, Jaecoo, Soueast and Chery brands. And for the period from October 16 to October 30 — Exeed, Amberauto, Exlantix, Solaris, Livan, Tenet, Changan, Jaecoo, Hongqi, Moskvich, Haval and Geely.

For example, the Moskvich 3 produced in 2025 added 49-62 thousand rubles in price (or 2.4 — 3.3%), and the same crossover, but with manual control, 49 thousand rubles (+2.5%). The 2025 Jaecoo J8 crossover in the Active version increased in price by 250 thousand rubles (+5.8%), and the company also increased prices for the model in all three trim levels of the 2024 model. The Russian brand Solaris raised the prices of three of its models, the maximum increase was 130 thousand rubles. The domestic Tenet has increased the prices of the T4 crossover in a number of versions by 30 thousand rubles. Haval has increased the price of six models at once.

In addition, the Ambertruck Work pickup truck became more expensive by 200 thousand rubles (+9.5%), the KGM Korando crossover — by 150 thousand rubles (plus 3.8 — 4.9%), the BAIC BJ60 SUV — by 200 thousand rubles (+3.8%), the Omoda C5 crossover of 2024 — by 100 thousand rubles (plus 3.5 — 4.4%), Exlantix ET crossover — 130 thousand (+2%).

On October 31, it was reported that new cars in Russia have almost doubled in price over the past five years. So, if at the beginning of 2021 the weighted average price of a passenger car was 1.8 million rubles, then by September 2025 it had increased to 3.34 million rubles.
