US President Donald Trump said that against the background of the shutdown, the government would not be able to pay food stamps to Americans on time. This became known on November 1.
He appealed to the court with a request to clarify how the White House can legally extend the financing of the program, and expects a quick response.
"Even if we receive immediate clarifications, unfortunately, (the payment of coupons. — Ed.) will be detained while the states allocate funds," he wrote on the Truth Social network.
