The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has filed a new lawsuit on the conversion of movable and immovable property of Ural companies into state revenue. Among the defendants are Artyom Bikov, a former adviser to the ex–head of RAO UES Corporation Anatoly Chubais, his partner Alexey Bobrov, Dmitry Budanov, General Director of Oblkommunenergo JSC, and a number of other individuals and legal entities, the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg reported on October 31 in the files.
"Case category: disputes related to property rights," TASS reports.
In addition to the defendants, numerous energy and utility companies in the region are acting as third parties in the case, including JSC Vodny Soyuz, JSC Yamalkommunenergo and LLC Nizhnevartovsk Energy Marketing Company.
The preliminary court hearing is scheduled for November 11.
