About 5 thousand trucks are blocked on the border of Belarus with Lithuania

About 5,000 Lithuanian trucks were blocked on the territory of Belarus after Vilnius' decision to close the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. This was announced on October 31 in the Telegram channel of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of the Republic.

According to the ministry, the movement of Lithuanian trucks, tractors and trailers is restricted on the Belarusian-Lithuanian section in accordance with the decree of the Government of Belarus. The measure is called a "forced response to the unilateral actions of the Lithuanian side," which has repeatedly closed checkpoints without notification.
