Lokomotiv hockey players beat SKA St. Petersburg with a score of 3:2
Yaroslavl hockey club (HC) Lokomotiv on its ice defeated St. Petersburg SKA in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match. The meeting was held on October 31.
The visitors scored first in the 7th minute, when defender Danila Galenyuk scored the puck. Yaroslavl responded with a quick double: Pavel Kraskovsky equalized in the 14th minute, and 30 seconds later Georgy Ivanov put Lokomotiv ahead. However, SKA responded quickly — three minutes later Marat Khairullin equalized the score again.
Defender Daniil Misyul scored the decisive goal at the beginning of the second period, hitting SKA's goal. This victory was the third for Lokomotiv over SKA this season after the previous victories with a score of 4:2 and 3:1.
Yaroslavl will play their next match on November 2 in Ufa against Salavat Yulaev.
Earlier, on October 22, it was reported that HC Ak Bars beat Lokomotiv 1-0 in the KHL regular season match, thus winning the eighth victory in a row. Striker Vladimir Alistrov scored a goal in the match (49th minute).
